Have you ever wondered how wool is transformed into your favorite sweater or mittens? Artisans from around the region will gather to demonstrate and share their love of traditional fiber arts. Guests will be able to watch spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, quilting, rug hooking, embroidery, tatting and lace making demonstrations. There will be hands-on activities, special exhibits, a scavenger hunt and vendors!

The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo holds a festival every year that attracts thousands of people to our Center. Featuring over 22 ethnicities under one tent, the International Festival is one of the most diverse cultural experiences offered in Ohio. Over 100 different styles of food are served, a multi-cultural shopping bazaar and activities for the kids make this a family event. With tours of the center and our multi-cultural exhibit, this is the event to attend to get a first-hand experience of Islam in America.
The International Festival has become an event of great importance in the surrounding community. With widespread recognition since The Islamic Center was declared a Historical Landmark by the State of Ohio, the International Festival has become one of the fastest-growing yearly events in the greater Toledo area. All proceeds from the Festival are utilized for various educational and health-related activities in the greater Toledo area.
