Beach House Erie and Beach House Ashland are our emergency family shelters for Leading Families Home. We offer an immediate place for families and single women facing homelessness as they seek permanent housing.
To enter one of our family shelters, call United Way's 211 coordinated entry system. You will be immediately connected with an advisor who will assist you in finding local resources for yourself and your family.

Beach House Erie and Beach House Ashland are family-centered emergency shelters in Toledo. Our shelter accepts families and single women.
Beach House Family Shelter is a Victorian home located in the Historic Vistula neighborhood and offers a home-like experience for Participants.
Several personal growth programs are also offered through the shelter, including trauma-informed case management, behavioral health, education, and employment services as well as programs and activities for children.

Beach House Family Shelter is one of three family-centered shelters in our local area, along with La Posada, an emergency family shelter that is part of Catholic Charities, and Family House.
Leading Families Home does not allow drugs, alcohol, smoking, or weapons within our facilities. Nor do we accept registered sex offenders or those convicted of crimes against children. We accept those without birth certificates, drivers licenses, and social security cards, and assist in attaining those documents.
