The follow events are for 2021 March in Toledo, Ohio:
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements or rally for women’s equality.
Marked annually on March 8th, International Women’s Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to:
The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is ‘Choose To Challenge’. A challenged world is an alert world. And from challenge comes change. So let’s all #ChooseToChallenge.
The challenge is a free tool designed to create dedicated time and space to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership.
You will be presented with daily challenges such as reading an article, listening to a podcast, reflecting on personal experience and more. Participation in an activity like this helps us to discover how racial injustice and social injustice impact our community, to connect with one another, and to identify ways to dismantle racism and other forms of discrimination. This is an exciting opportunity to dive deep into racial equity and social justice. We hope you will join us on this journey and we can’t wait to get started!
We are excited to announce the 2021 21-Day Challenge for Racial Equity and Social Justice will launch Monday, March 1st, and run Monday through Friday, ending on March 29th. We hope that you will go into this challenge with an open heart and an open mind, ready to be pushed out of your comfort zone. We know these discussions can be difficult and can bring up powerful emotions, but your commitment to increasing your awareness is what will help move our community forward.

First Wednesday of Every Month
Come ready to explore hands-on science and learn with other families in a NEW way. Imagination Station is your resource to help bring science to life.
Our homeschool monthly program is created for students in grades K – 8.
Each session will cover a variety of topics that will encourage exploration and discovery, with a little bit of messy science along the way.
All living organisms need a place to call home. What might be home for a cockroach wouldn’t be a good home for a human. In this workshop our extreme scientist will showcase some creepy, crawly critters and the habitats they need to survive
No it’s not owl poop… it’s an owl pellet and what’s inside will uncover how different organisms interact with each other in the food web.
Why do children look like their parents? It’s all because of genetics! In this virtual workshop our extreme scientists will start off by extracting the DNA from a strawberry to show you the raw material that makes up our individual characteristics.
Learn all about how our binocular vision works through experimentation. Then watch live as an Extreme Scientist dissects a cow eye for a more detailed look at the various pieces that make up our vision.
The human body has many different systems. Discover how they work as we explore the digestive, circulatory and respiratory systems of the human body.
Yes a shark…. A real life shark! Learn about this ferocious creature from the inside out. If you like shark week then you’re going to love this workshop.
