Winter Wonderland - our festive holiday event - is coming up this December... and YOU'RE INVITED! This event includes our iconic table decorating contest, silent auction, wine pull, and special guest speakers. Leading Families Home has hosted this event for years, and it's one of our favorites! 
What is Winter Wonderland? If you haven't joined us for this event previously, we'd love for you to join us! Winter Wonderland is a special fundraising event to raise funds for our families facing homelessness to help them transition to permanent housing. This event is close to our hearts, and we absolutely love celebrating the holidays with our friends, families, coworkers, supporters, volunteers, and donors.
Winter Wonderland is held at St. Clement Hall, located at 2990 Tremainsville Rd. in Toledo, Ohio. St. Clement generously donates the use of their hall to Leading Families Home to support our mission. Winter Wonderland starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm. Tickets are $25/each or $200/table (8 guests). Each table is assigned a table captain. It includes a table decorating contest, silent auction, wine pull, and guest speakers. Sponsorships are available!
You'll get to meet our Executive Director, Jennifer Jacobs; HR/Finance Director, Ruth Ann Petroff; and Staff Accountant, Mary Burda! Many of our Board of Directors members also attend, including Board of Directors President, Valerie Garforth; Board of Directors Vice President, Debra Sue; former Board of Directors President, Drew Masse; and Treasurer, Ron Ranallo.

Winter Wonderland includes so many wonderful things - and the most iconic is our table decorating contest!

Your table captain will contact you to choose a theme and decorate your table. Decorations include tableware - glasses, dishes, tableware, and napkins - and other items to bring your theme to life. (White tablecloths are provided.)
Each guests receives a token at the event, which they can use to vote for their favorite table (please vote for others’ tables, not your own). The table with the most votes wins!
A special prize is awarded to the winning table.

We have four levels of sponsorships:
SANTA: $2,500 / includes tickets for 8 guests (a full table) + special event promotions, including inclusion in our event press release, social media mentions, inclusion in our weekly newsletter, logo and website link on our website, logo in our event program, and logo on our special sponsorship sign at the event.
MISTLETOE: $1,000 / includes tickets for 4 guests + special event promotions, including inclusion in our event press release, social media mentions, inclusion in our weekly newsletter, logo and website link on our website, and logo in our event program.
CANDY CANE: $500 / includes tickets for 4 guests, social media mentions, inclusion in our weekly newsletter, logo and website link on our website, and logo in our event program.
HOT COCOA: $500 / includes social media mentions, inclusion in our weekly newsletter, logo and website link on our website, and logo in our event program.
Our silent auction is a vital part of our event - and we'd love for you to donate!
What items do we need? Thank you for asking! We love fun, festive, winter-themed items; wine/liquor/cigars; gift baskets; gift certificates; experiences; household goods; designers purses; jewelry; or unique art pieces. Our donors come up with the most delightful items to include in our auction - and we can't wait to receive the items you'd like to donate!
We've received car wash/detailing certificates, teeth whitening gift cards, house cleaning vouchers, specialty themed gift baskets; liquor gift cards; signed books; glassware; pet gift baskets; designer handbags; vacation stays in Michigan, Belgium, and California; and so much more! If you'd like to donate, please let us know!
